Where Memory, Place, and People Become One

A collection of true stories honoring legacy, resilience, and a disappearing way of life.

lyn Baker

A native of Yellville, Arkansas, Lyn has lived most of his life in his beloved Ozark Mountains. He has been active in his community serving on several city and non-profit boards over the years. While his career has been in the banking and real estate industry utilizing his degrees from North Arkansas College and the University of Central Arkansas, his passions have resided in the arts, whether it be music as a guitarist, double bassist and singer/song writer, poet, fine art as a painter, gardener in his private garden, or as fine woodworker. And now he has now become an author. Friends say he is bit of a renaissance man, but in truth, ‘It’s just that no one has every told me I couldn’t accomplish a certain thing, and if they did, I ignored them. So, I have always just tried to do whatever it was I was inspired to do.’
