About The Author
Leo Stafford
I was born in Poplar Bluff Missouri. However, I grew up in a
small town in northern California. When I was fourteen, I went to
work for a fishing guide at Bucks Lake California during the
summers. This was a dream job for a young boy, and it gave me the
opportunity to meet some very interesting, well educated, and
wealthy folks. I couldn’t have known it at the time, but the influence
that these people had on me would help to shape the rest of my life
I have four kids, ten grand kids, and five grate grand kids. I
currently reside in Nevada, but I have lived and worked in eight
states and five foreign countries. I’m a journeyman carpenter and
hold a BS degree. I’m still working and travel in between Nevada
and Texas.
I’ve spent a good part of my life working in remote construction
camps and for a good deal of that time I was working north of the
Arctic Circle on two different continents
About The Book
That Damned
Game
Obsession. Power. Fate.
What if obsession is more powerful than fate?
Four young couples, seeking a thrill, discover an old board game that
seems harmless at first. But as they play, something shifts-an
unseen force begins to twist their reality. What was once a simple
game becomes a dangerous obsession, pulling them deeper into a
web of mind-bending events.
Each turn seems to change something in their lives, and soon they
realize the game's influence may not be as random as it seems. But is
it the power of the game itself, or the growing obsession that is
guiding them toward something far darker? The boundaries between
chance and fate blur, and they must decide if they can stop before it's
too late.
