Bob Tulipan

Bob is a writer, producer, manager and CEO, and a bit of a cultural renegade.

He’s produced and or facilitated scores of concerts, festivals and events in the US and abroad ranging from Pavarotti to Punk; often finding himself in unique situations he utilizes in his writing. His favorites: PiL at NYC’s legendary Roseland Ballroom, Chuck Berry’s free concert for 10,000+ for the Moscow Film Festival and having Russian Su-27 jet fighters flying aerobatics over Seattle.

He’s coordinated concerts for US Presidential Inauguration Balls and Conventions, wrangled ‘A’ list talent at the G-8 summit, executive-produced 2018’s feature An Actor Prepares (starring Jeremy Irons), produced network television’s Jimi Hendrix: The Final Hours, distributed concert films by The Rolling Stones and others, managed major rock bands and co-founded TCG, the entertainment, sports and fashion industry’s preeminent travel logistics firm. He is the author of Rockin’ in the New World, Taking Your Band From the Basement to the Big Time, the highly acclaimed ‘music how to,’ published by Sterling (Barnes & Noble), now Union Square & Co (Hachette), a Billboard “Top Pick” for artists and those interested in what it takes to make it as an artist in today’s world, and by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a “must-have” for musicians and music education programs.
